this is me acting cute (what's new?) at Charming Garden Chinese Rest. it's at Copthorne Orchid, behind the Raffles Town Club at Upper Bkt Timah Rd. worth the drive down here. great food, yet not many people coz it's kinda out of the way. the Pigeon soup is so delicious! $5 for a bamboo container of it. UOB card members get 10% discount on 2nd visit. it's under Tung Lok Group.

tung lok grp is the standard bearer for chinese cuisine.. shark's fin to dim sum to lobster to soups.. other good chinese restaurants are at orchard parade hotel and marriot hotel. try those. btw, rtc is at bt timah, not upper bt timah rd..
